What is the Scout Fellowship ?

The Scout Fellowship is a body of Adults who wish to actively support Scouting, but may be unable to accept the regular commitments of a warranted position as a Leader. The Scout Fellowship is open to anybody over the age of 18- and there is NO upper age limit.

What does the Fellowship Do ?

The Scout Fellowship fulfils many different service requests, at various District or Group activities. These include assisting at Sports and Fun Days, helping to man bases for competitions, running occasional meetings for Groups, stewarding at St George’s Day parades and other special events.

Everybody has some skill or experience that they can share. Scouting in Sittingbourne & Milton District needs help with a wide range of activities.

Fellowship members (and their families) also enjoy a programme of social events.

Do Scout Fellowship members have to wear Uniform ?

NO. Members of the Scout Fellowship may be either Associate or Full Members of the Scout association. Full Members make the Scout Promise and may choose to wear uniform.

We welcome people of all ages and interests

The Scout Fellowship welcomes men and women of all ages, interests and backgrounds. There is no need to have been a Scout or Guide. All that is required from you is a willingness to give Scouting some of your time. In return you will make friends and enjoy supporting the largest youth movement in the United Kingdom.

How do I join the Scout Fellowship ?

If you are over 18 and want to actively support the work of the Scout Movement with young people, learn some new skills and at the same time enjoy the fun and social activities of the Scout Fellowship please contact:
